OUR WORK IN UGANDA

The Management of Kumi Hospital has recently shown their appreciation of the efforts of the previous team and have taken the steps to dedicate the refurbished Orthopaedic Workshop to Peter Betteridge with Support from Rotary Club of Godalming, the

management has already taken the step of attaching a plaque on the wall of the Orthopaedic Workshop on Marble Stone.

We also share here a few pictures of the current Jaipur Limb Clinic and on other going activities.

They are also constructing a building for the manufacturer of wheelchairs. This is excellent news as there are so many in need of a wheelchair.

We are pleased to announce plans to revoluntionise our training and technical support whilst reducing our carbon footprint - cutting travel and accomodation costs whilst providing on-call, ongoung advice and guidance.  To find out more, watch the video below (click on the image):

 

The E-Rotary club of the Caribbean (district 7020) has successfully applied for a Global Grant from the Rotary Foundation to establish a prosthetic limb workshop in Northern Ethiopia. They are working with the Rotary Club of Gondar Fasiledes, the Gondar University Hospital and ourselves, the Rotary Jaipur Limb Charity to achieve this undertaking. In total, nine individual clubs and three districts as well as a significant private donor are contributing to this project.  The E-Rotary club have produced this video telling more.
